Overton and Basingstoke Taekwondo Club was founded in 1997. From very modest beginnings we have grown to over 150 members of varying ages and grades.  As a registered charitable incorparated organisation, the club is run for the benefit of our members and with enthusiastic instructors dedicated to teaching Taekwondo rather than their personal gain.  We are successful because we can provide:-

• our own fully fitted facility in Basingstoke with classes also available in Overton
• high quality World Taekwondo Federation (WTF)/Kukkiwon Taekwondo training at affordable fees
• a challenging training syllabus covering Traditional Taekwondo, Self-defence and the Olympic style of Sport Taekwondo
• an enthusiastic and friendly atmosphere
• varied and interesting classes available 6 days a week
• opportunity to participate in regular seminars, tournaments, and social events

We are members of Taekwondo Chungdokwan Great Britain and through our association directly linked to the oldest Kwan (school) in Taekwondo, the Chungdokwan in Seoul, Korea.  Taekwondo Chungdokwan GB is a group member of the recognised World Taekwondo Federation National Governing Body for the United Kingdom, the British Taekwondo Control Board (BTCB).   Therefore our members have access to tournaments from local level up to WTF World Championships and even the Olympics.
